«Leo la arma» is the children's book by Patricia Schröder, published by Editorial Luis Vives (Edelvives) in paperback (108 pages, in Spanish).
Leo arrives at his new class and befriends Dotte, a classmate who tends to be left out. That friendship annoys Fanny, the group's leader, who along with her inseparable Maja begins to make life difficult for them. The story, with a girls' club and a small revenge in the mix, speaks of friendship, integration and school conflicts.
It is the first installment of the La banda del Regaliz series. It includes illustrations by Tina Schulte and a translation from German by Cristina Rodríguez Aguilar.
A read for readers aged 9 to 12, especially for those who enjoy stories of friendship and conflicts at school.
