«L'Ère du peuple» is the political essay by Jean-Luc Mélenchon, published by Pluriel in paperback (160 pages, in French).
Jean-Luc Mélenchon invites readers to look beyond the present, analyzing a world of demographic growth, urbanization, climate change and a reordering of powers, and places the people, scorned by the elites, as a new political actor, championing a citizen revolution that could lead to the French Sixth Republic.
Updated and expanded edition with unpublished texts ('Nouvelle édition'), published in 2017; the original work appeared in 2014.
Aimed at readers interested in French political debate and proposals for democratic change.
