«L'ère du Verseau» is the philosophical essay by Jean Sendy, published by J'ai lu rouge in paperback (279 pages, in French).
Jean Sendy starts from pulsars, whose stable signals resemble an encephalogram, to describe a universe of radiation and waves. He questions humanism and the idea of a mass-produced human being; only a conscious conception could turn it into a work of art, and the answer would lie in the heavens, where science discovers inhabited worlds that tradition already announced.
The work bears the subtitle «fin de l'illusion humaniste», was published in 1980 and belongs to the collection «L'aventure mystérieuse».
Aimed at readers interested in the connection between science, philosophy and tradition.
