«Les històries perdudes» is the children's and young adult novel by Jordi Sierra i Fabra, published by Cruïlla in paperback (112 pages, in Catalan).
The action takes place in the Great Desert, where Ashmayd, an old man who lives apart from people, finds a dying man. Ashmayd does not know whether the dying man is good or evil, and that doubt turns the act of saving him into a dilemma; every choice he makes can change the fate of others and his own.
It belongs to the El Barco de Vapor Roja collection (number 85) and includes illustrations by Victòria Tubau. Winner of the Premi El Vaixell de Vapor 1998.
Suitable for young readers aged 12 to 14 interested in short stories with moral dilemmas.
