«Les Indispensables BD: Garfield, tome 1: Garfield prend du poids» is the humor comic by Jim Davis, published by Dargaud in hardcover (French, 50 pages).
Garfield, the laziest and greediest orange cat in comics, stars in humorous strips where his main philosophy is eating, sleeping and doing nothing. In this installment he appears on a tennis court, racket in hand and a fed-up look, making it clear that exercise is not for him. Davis portrays the life of the feline and his owner with irony.
First volume of the French Garfield series, published in 2003 in the Les Indispensables BD collection.
For fans of graphic humor and classic comics featuring animals.
