«Les lliçons del professor Poca-solta. Lliçó 1: Bones maneres» is Elise Gravel's illustrated children's book, in paperback (48 pages, in Catalan).
Professor Poca-solta teaches good manners with very rude advice: wiping your mouth with your table neighbor's sleeve or pointing at those who are different. His nonsensical speech works as reverse psychology and requires readers to grasp the irony to learn by contrast. Absurd humor for children.
First volume in the Professor Tarambana's Lessons series, with illustrations by Iris and translated from French by Susana Tornero Brugués.
Recommended for children aged 6 and up, when they can already grasp the irony that underpins Professor Poca-solta's humor.
Élise Gravel is a Canadian author and illustrator from Montreal, Quebec.
