«Les Récrés du petit Nicolas» is the children's humor book by René Goscinny and Sempé, published by Gallimard jeunesse in paperback in French.
Nicolas and his friends get into funny scrapes during recess and the school day: soccer matches, squabbles between classmates, misunderstandings with adults and pranks that end in unpredictable situations. The short stories, with the characteristic humor of Goscinny and Sempé, portray the everyday life of a group of children.
Second volume in the Le Petit Nicolas series. This 1987 edition has 181 pages and belongs to the Folio Junior collection, with black-and-white drawings by Sempé.
Recommended for young readers aged 9 to 12 who want to practice French, as the text is entirely in this language.

René Goscinny was a French comic editor and writer, who created the Asterix comic book series with illustrator Albert Uderzo. Born in France to a Jewish family from Poland, he spent his childhood in Argentina where he attended French schools and later lived in the United States for a short period of time. There he met Belgian cartoonist Morris. After his return to France, they collaborated for more than 20 years on the comic series Lucky Luke.
