Synopsis of Les senyoretes de Lourdes
Les senyoretes de Lourdes es una novela escrita por Pep Coll, ganadora del Premi Sant Jordi 2007. La historia se centra en la vida de Bernardette Soubirous, una joven que en 1858 afirmó haber visto una aparición de una dama vestida de blanco en una cueva cercana a su pueblo. Los vecinos de Lourdes interpretaron la aparición de diversas maneras, desde un hada hasta el espíritu de una beata fallecida. La novela reconstruye los orígenes del santuario más importante del catolicismo y retrata a los personajes históricos implicados en las apariciones, acercándonos al drama de una niña enferma que deseaba esconderse de las multitudes.
