«Les Toiles de Chagall» is a children's art book by Sylvie Girardet, Claire Merleau-Ponty and Nestor Salas, published by RMN in hardcover (37 pages).
An invitation to look at Marc Chagall's art through a child's eyes: a brief biography of the painter, a selection of works and, for each one, an observation exercise. The book also invites readers to discover a self-portrait with seven fingers, upside-down paintings, a violin-playing cow and a huge frog, always with a playful approach.
Work in French published in 2001 by RMN, in the children's collection Salut l'artiste.
Recommended for children aged 6 to 8 who are starting to explore art, with a playful observation-based approach.
