«Les vacances de Saïda» is the children's novel by Eva Peydró, published by Edicions Bromera in paperback (72 pages, in Catalan).
Saïda, a Sahrawi girl, spends the summer at Ferran's house and arrives laden with desert roses and ancestral knowledge. Living together between two very distant worlds proves enriching for them and places them before attitudes ranging from racism to solidary welcome.
It is part of the El Micalet Galàctic collection as number 85 and features illustrations by Horacio Elena.
Aimed at readers aged 9 to 12, within children's and young adult literature.
