«Lestat el vampiro» is the fantasy and horror novel by Anne Rice, published by Punto de Lectura in paperback (800 pages, in Spanish).
Lestat is a vampire unlike the classics: after waking in the 1980s, he decides to tell his story and break the vampires' silence. His tale ranges from eighteenth-century Paris to Augustan Rome, druidic Brittany, prehistoric Egypt and the world of rock, as he seeks the secret of his immortality.
Second installment of the Vampire Chronicles saga, sequel to Interview with the Vampire; the original title is The Vampire Lestat.
For readers of fantasy and horror, especially fans of the Vampire Chronicles or vampire stories far from the cliché.
Anne Rice was an American author of Gothic fiction, erotic literature, and Bible fiction. She is best known for writing The Vampire Chronicles. She later adapted the first volume in the series into a commercially successful eponymous film, Interview with the Vampire (1994).
