«Leviatán» is the children's picture book by Ramón Trigo, published by Kalandraka in hardcover (36 pages, in Galician).
Set against the sea, the story follows a great whale and a ship's crew determined to hunt it; the illustrations, highly expressive with humorous touches, explore the relationship between the planet and its inhabitants.
Winner of the 2012 Lazarillo Prize in the picture book category, it is part of the Álbum Infantil collection; first edition published in 2014.
Recommended for children and young adults, especially readers seeking picture books with a symbolic visual approach.
