«Licht» is the story by German writer Christoph Meckel, published by FISCHER Taschenbuch in paperback (124 pages, in German).
The narrator recalls a love story cut short by the accidental death of his partner, a passion with no room for work or routine. The holidays in the south return, the long nights, the unhurried mornings, the naked body, the face wet with rain and the scents of the seasons, until reality and fantasy merge into a dream.
The book belongs to the Fischer Taschenbücher collection (no. 2100). The work was originally published in 1978; this edition is from 1980.
For readers of German literature and of lyrical stories about memory, love and loss.
Christoph Meckel was a German author and graphic artist. He received awards for his works which connect illustrations with the written text, sometimes texts by others.
