«Little Hoot» is the children's picture book by Amy Krouse Rosenthal, published by Chronicle Books in hardcover (32 pages, in English).
Little Hoot wants to go to bed early like his friends, but his parents, Mama and Papa Owl, force him to stay up late because little owls must play at night. Furious, the little owl jumps on the bed, plays in the park and does skateboard tricks, in a funny reversal of the childhood bedtime battle.
Originally published in 2007, it belongs to the Little Books series and is illustrated by Jen Corace.
For children who resist going to bed and for families looking for a humorous story about nighttime routines.
