«Llamadme Evita» is the biography of Eva Perón written by Carmen Llorca, published by Planeta in paperback (302 pages, in Spanish).
The work traces the life of Eva Duarte de Perón, from her origins to her death in 1952, and examines the role she played in Argentine politics and the social environment of her time. The title comes from the request Eva made to her descamisados when they wanted to elevate her to the vice presidency: she wanted to go down in history under her real name.
It belongs to the Documento collection, number 29, and includes black-and-white photographs, bibliographic references and an index.
A work for those interested in Argentine history and in biographies of twentieth-century political figures.
