«Lo que los hombres no saben» is the anthology of short stories coordinated by Lucía Etxebarria, published by Ediciones Martínez Roca in paperback.
The anthology brings together thirteen stories about female desires and fantasies written by several Spanish women authors, including Espido Freire, Marta Sanz and Lola Beccaria. The book seeks to turn little-told experiences into literature and raises a debate about violence and domination in the construction of female and male desire.
First volume of the MR Astarté collection, published on February 12, 2008; includes introduction and critical study by Lucía Etxebarria.
Recommended for those seeking contemporary erotic fiction written by women and for readers interested in the debate on desire and sexuality.
