«Lobos» is an illustrated popular science book by Gérard Lecomte and Bernard Dumort, published by De Vecchi Ediciones in paperback (96 pages, in Spanish).
«Lobos» explores the history, myths and legends of the wolf, and its current situation. Gérard Lecomte and Bernard Dumort photographed Canis lupus in the Gévaudan park (France), where the species is recovering. Texts and images in the wild show its facets, its habitat and the human relationship with a predator that is no longer feared.
Subtitled «Mitos y leyendas. El lobo en la actualidad». Published in 2008, it is the first work made entirely in the Gévaudan park.
A work for nature enthusiasts, wildlife and animal photography, and for readers interested in wolf conservation.
