Los amantes anónimos is a novel by the Spanish author Salvador Gutiérrez Solís, published in 2016 by Stella Maris. The story follows Carmen Puerto, a police inspector who lives reclusive in her house and solves cases through the internet, and Jesús Fernández, a hairdresser who helps her with daily tasks. Together, they investigate the appearance of frozen human remains in several cities, with the help of her former colleagues Jaime and Julia. The novel explores loneliness and hyperconnection in contemporary society, and raises questions about the blurred line between the real and the virtual.
