Los años del Nodo

Synopsis of Los años del Nodo

«Los años del Nodo» is the historical essay by Rafael Abella and Gabriel Cardona, published by Booket in paperback (368 pages, in Spanish).

The No-Do, the documentary newsreel of the Franco regime, was shown compulsorily in Spanish movie theaters from 1941 until the early 1980s. Drawing on the analysis of these newsreels, the work reconstructs four decades of Spanish life and paints a portrait of what society was like then.

For readers interested in the history of Spain under Franco and in the audiovisual memory of the twentieth century.
