Manuel stabs a riot policeman who tried to attack him and is forced to flee. He finds refuge in an abandoned village, where he begins a new life of survival and isolation, discovering that the less he has, the less he needs. This work by Santiago Lorenzo is a modern version of Robinson Crusoe set in the 'empty Spain', a novel that questions our current society with a political, lyrical, and deeply human perspective.
