«Los cerebros plateados» is the science fiction novel by Fritz Leiber, published by Martínez Roca in paperback (189 pages, in Spanish).
In a future dominated by the automated publishing industry, a «róbix» works as a censor; editors amuse themselves with «robotrices» and writers have been reduced to mere advertising figures. Fritz Leiber turns this premise into an iconoclastic satire of the world of books and science fiction.
Original work: The Silver Eggheads (1961). This Spanish edition, translated by José María Aroca, appeared in the Super Ficción collection (number 8) from Martínez Roca.
An option for science fiction readers who appreciate satire and sharp humor, with a critical eye on the publishing business.
Fritz Reuter Leiber Jr. was an American writer of fantasy, horror, and science fiction.
