«Los Confidentes» is the novel by Bret Easton Ellis, published by Ediciones B in paperback (281 pages, in Spanish).
Set in Los Angeles, the novel portrays a group of affluent young people who move between luxury cars, drinks at trendy clubs and all kinds of pills. They live surrounded by comforts, but their empty existence leads them to cruelty, promiscuity and sadism, in a choral chronicle of lives without moral direction.
Spanish translation of The Informers, original English title published in 1994. This edition appeared in July 1996.
For those interested in Bret Easton Ellis's narrative, author of American Psycho, and in generational portraits with a mordant tone.
