«Los invitados» is the thriller novel by Spanish writer Alfonso Grosso, published by Planeta in 1978 in paperback (257 pages, in Spanish).
At the Andalusian farmstead Los Galindos, the Civil Guard discovers five murders with no culprits. Based on that real event, the novel combines chronicle and fiction: it goes back to England to introduce Tony, a former legionnaire and thief, and Georgina, an independent young woman; their journey towards Andalusia takes them to that estate, where their paths intertwine.
Finalist for the 1978 Planeta Prize. The work belongs to Planeta's Colección Autores Españoles e Hispanoamericanos. Alfonso Grosso was born in Seville in 1928 and died in 1995.
For readers of crime fiction, intrigue and true-crime chronicles based on real events.
