«Los papeles de agua» is the contemporary novel by Antonio Gala, published by Editorial Planeta in hardcover (450 pages, in Spanish).
The writer Asunción Moreno, who triumphed as Deyanira Alarcón, settles in Venice after the failure of one of her novels. There she writes notebooks that are both diary and confession: a reflection on her identity, the craft of writing, and the life she did not dare to live.
