Synopsis of Los prisioneros del paraíso

Praga, 10 de agosto de 1942. Hans Krasa, un compositor y director de orquesta checo de origen judío, es arrestado por las SS y enviado al campo de concentración de Theresienstadt. Junto a él, son confinados otros compositores y músicos. Los nazis quieren convertir Theresienstadt en un campo modelo para mostrar al mundo que los judíos mantienen una vida cultural intensa. Krasa y sus compañeros aceptan el juego para sobrevivir, utilizando la música como una forma de evitar el campo de exterminio de Auschwitz y unir a la humanidad condenada. Elisabeth von Leuenberg, una científica prominente de la Alemania nazi, también protagoniza esta novela.
