«Los problemas del pequeño Nicolás» is the children's work by Goscinny-Sempé, in paperback, published by Santillana Educación (128 pages, in Spanish).
Nicolás doesn't quite understand adults, nor they him: for example, they don't see why he'd want to buy fifty chocolate bars at once or that a flashlight is good for passing time in the dark, while they think it's normal to give him board games. Luckily, he can swap those gifts with his school friends.
With illustrations by Sempé and translation by Esther Benítez; text from 'Joachim a des ennuis'.
Recommended for ages 10 and up; also for adults who want to relive Nicolás's adventures.
