«Los recuerdos de Jasid», by Tomás Trigo, is the story of the Holy Family told by their dog (paperback, 160 pages, Spanish).
Jasid, a dog chosen to guard a very special family, narrates in the first person the story of Jesus, Mary and Joseph from his own particular point of view. Through his memories, the narrative brings the reader closer to the daily life of the Holy Family with closeness and simplicity.
The original edition dates from 2009; the work is illustrated by Mar Ballesteros. The cover shows Jasid in front of an open door behind which the Holy Family can be seen.
