The booklet starts from Jesus' reading of the psalms to understand his mission and the Father's will, and how the first Christians used them to make sense of the crucified Messiah. It also explains the place of the psalms in the Scriptures, their relevance as an ancient text, and their ability to illuminate current believing life.
Belongs to the Biblical Booklets collection (no. 25); 8th edition published in 2006. Includes a table of psalms used in the New Testament.
Aimed at readers interested in the Bible, Christianity, and exegesis of sacred texts.
