«Los seres heridos» is the short story collection by Tino Pertierra, published by Ediciones Nobel in paperback (151 pages, in Spanish).
The stories in «Los seres heridos» focus on anonymous characters who cross paths in everyday urban settings —trains, movie theaters, restaurants— and portray, with a minimalist style, the loneliness of those who pass each other without ever truly meeting.
The book belongs to the Colección Clarín (number 2) and opens with a prologue by Juan Cueto. It was awarded the Premio Tigre Juan in 1996.
A work for those who enjoy short fiction with an urban atmosphere and solitary characters.
