Los tíos de Sicilia is a collection of short stories by the Italian writer Leonardo Sciascia, published in 1992 by Tusquets Editores. The first two stories, "La tía de América" and "La muerte de Stalin", offer a satirical portrait of the Sicilian population after the Second World War, divided between the promises of the American Way of Life and the communist hope. "El quarantotto" places the reader in 1848, the year in which the revolution arrives in a lost town on the Italian island. Finally, "El antimonio" tells the story of an Italian miner who joins the fascist ranks during the Spanish Civil War. Irony and paradox are key elements in these early stories by the author.

Leonardo Sciascia was an Italian writer, novelist, essayist, playwright, and politician. Some of his works have been made into films, including Porte Aperte, Cadaveri Eccellenti, Todo Modo and Il giorno della civetta.
