«Lou ! - Tome 01: Journal infime» is the comic by Julien Neel, published by Glénat in hardcover (48 pages, in French).
Lou is a girl who lives with her mother and her cat, between video game sessions, pizza afternoons and her passion for fashion. She is in love with a neighbor to whom she dares not confess her feelings and shares her secrets with her best friend Mina. When Richard moves into the building, Lou thinks he is the ideal man for her mother and does everything she can to make them meet.
First volume of the «Lou!» series, part of the Tchô! collection from Glénat. It won the Prix jeunesse 9-12 ans at the Angoulême Festival in 2005.
Aimed at children and young readers, though its tenderness and humor also win over adults.
