«Madame, vous êtes une prof de merde !» is the testimony of Charlotte Charpot, published by Editions de l'Arbre in paperback (215 pages, in French).
Charlotte Charpot recounts her first experience as a teacher in a troubled secondary school in Nîmes, with violent students and an indifferent hierarchy. After her transfer to Brussels, she endures the reality of the «flexi-prof», teaching subjects amid insults from students and parents. She denounces the abandonment of teachers and ineffective educational reforms.
The book bears the subtitle «Quand enseigner devient un enfer. Témoignage vécu» and was published in 2009.
For teachers and readers interested in the reality of the French education system and in testimonies about the toll of the profession.
