«Maddiren amona influencerra» is the young adult novel by Jasone Osoro Igartua, published by Alai Argitaletxea in hardcover (112 pages, in Basque).
Covid-19 forces Maddi to spend lockdown at her grandmother's house while her parents are stranded in the Maldives. What seemed like a tedious confinement becomes an adventure: video calls with her friends from Basakabi, her grandmother's reunion with a past love thanks to social media, and an unexpected leap to digital fame for the grandmother.
It is the third volume in the Go!azen collection, published on November 16, 2020, and includes illustrations by Alai Zubimendi Idarreta.
Aimed at readers aged 8 to 14, especially those looking for relatable stories about social media, family and lockdown.
