«Mamitis» is a children's story by Josep Francesc Delgado Mercader, published by Baula in paperback (64 pages, in Catalan).
Francesc can only fall asleep if his mother tells him stories and stays by his side; tired, she sometimes ends up asleep in the bed. When the boy falls ill and has to go to the hospital just before Epiphany, one morning he receives an unexpected visit. A tender story about the mother-son relationship and the need to be accompanied.
It is volume 12 of the Ala Delta Sèrie Roja collection, illustrated by Mercè Aranega Español and originally published in 2004.
Recommended for early readers aged 5 and up, with a relatable story about family and a touch of fantasy.
