«Marabajo» is a children's story by Pablo Albo, published by Anaya in paperback (88 pages, in Spanish).
A rock at the bottom of the sea is home to twenty or thirty crabs that hide at any sign of danger and also for no apparent reason, because a very annoying squid lurks in the area; it doesn't eat crabs, but it won't leave them alone. The tale combines humor, imagination and wordplay with an original narrative sequence.
This title belongs to the El Duende Verde collection (number 164), with illustrations by Jesús Aguado. The work won first prize in the 27th Vila d'Ibi Children's Narrative Contest in 2008.
Recommended for children aged 8 to 12, especially for those looking for humorous animal stories.
