«Marcelino Camacho y Josefina» is the biography of the labor union leader and his wife by Etsuko Asami and Alfredo Gómez Gil, in hardcover (Algaba Ediciones).
The book stems from a year of conversations between Marcelino Camacho and Josefina Samper with Etsuko Asami and Alfredo Gómez Gil. It portrays the leader as a symbol of the struggle for freedoms and labor union rights, and Josefina as a down-to-earth counterpoint, with special attention to Camacho's coherence and honesty.
Published in 2003, it is the fourth volume in the Biografía collection from Algaba Ediciones and includes illustrations and an index.
For readers interested in the social and labor union history of Spain and in biographies of workers' leaders.
