«Maria Rosa» is the play by Àngel Guimerà published by Educaula in paperback, with 256 pages, in Catalan.
Written in 1894, it belongs to the dramatist's mature period, along with «Terra baixa» and «La filla del mar». In it, the characters live with an emotional intensity that conditions their way of seeing the world and their surroundings; from that clash is born a conflict that is played out on stage, a characteristic feature of Guimerà's theatre.
It is part of the Educació 62 collection (volume 39) and this edition includes a preliminary study with supplementary material by Joan Martori.
Suitable for readers aged 14 and over, this is a didactic edition aimed at the school environment.
