«Marimar, la sirena gruñona» is the children's story by Rocío Antón and Lola Núñez, published by Edelvives in hardcover (32 pages, in Spanish).
Marimar is a grumpy mermaid, very different from those in classic tales: her bad mood complicates her life. The collection «Buenos de cuento» reinterprets classically good characters by giving them small flaws they must overcome, and the protagonist will face a shipwreck that will force her to change her attitude.
Volume 6 of the collection «Buenos de cuento». Edition in linked script with pictograms, published in 2006. With illustrations by Claudia Ranucci.
Recommended for children aged 5 to 6, according to the reading age indicated by the publisher.
