«Martes de hielo» is the second thriller featuring psychiatrist Frieda Klein, written by Nicci French and published by Grijalbo in paperback (448 pages, in Spanish).
Frieda Klein, a London psychiatrist, again works with Inspector Karlsson when a man's body is found in the apartment of Michelle Doyce, an elderly woman with a mental disorder that makes any interrogation difficult. Listening patiently to Michelle, Frieda gathers small clues that identify the victim and point to several suspects. The investigation takes place in a wintry London and forces the psychiatrist to discern which witnesses are telling the truth in order to get closer to the killer.
The book is the second installment in the Frieda Klein series. The original work is titled «Tuesday's Gone» and this Spanish edition includes the translation by Montse Roca.
Nicci French is the pseudonym of English husband-and-wife team Nicci Gerrard and Sean French, who write psychological thrillers together.
