«Massa tímid per lligar» is the novel by Pere Pons I Clar, published by Edicions Baula in 1998 in paperback (108 pages, in Catalan).
Jaume is a teenager unable to overcome his shyness; his attraction to Margarida, a distant and contradictory girl, pushes him to face his fears. The relationship between them reflects the clash between adolescent sincerity and a generation without cultural, moral or ethical references.
For readers of young adult fiction: a brief story about shyness, desire and the difficulty of fitting in during adolescence.
