«Masters of Soccer» is the children's soccer book by David Bedford, published by Little Hare in paperback (74 pages, in English).
Harvey and Darren just want to play soccer, but their principal, Mrs Pinto, has a surprise in store: she picks them for her new ballet show and already has the leotards with their names on. The performance will be in front of the whole school, and Harvey's idol, the soccer player Pedro Manolo, will be in the audience, so the two friends will have to find a way to escape this adventure.
Sixth volume in the «The Team» series, with illustrations by Keith Brumpton.
Recommended for young readers aged 8 and up, especially those who enjoy soccer stories.
