«Meer modernismen» is Kees van Kooten's collection of autobiographical stories, published by De Bezige Bij in paperback (164 pages, in Dutch).
Kees van Kooten brings together autobiographical stories, some previously published, in which everyday situations take a recognizably twisted turn. The volume combines ten longer stories with twenty-six short pieces portraying characters, friends and relatives in whom readers may see themselves reflected.
Published in 1986, this book is the second installment of Kees van Kooten's Modermismen series, in the Bezige Bij pocket collection (no. 31).
Suitable for those seeking short fiction with humor and for readers interested in Dutch literature.
Cornelis Reinier "Kees" van Kooten is a Dutch comedian, television actor, and writer. He formed the duo Van Kooten & De Bie with Wim de Bie from 1972 to 1998.
