«Memoiren» is the autobiography of Curt Goetz and Valérie von Martens, published by Bastei Lübbe in 1982 (640 pages, in German).
An autobiographical work that brings together the fragments Curt Goetz left unfinished and which his wife Valérie von Martens completed with her own memories. It narrates the life of Peterhans von Binningen, the author's literary alter ego, and includes the stories «Die Verwandlung des Peterhans von Binningen» and «Wir wandern, wir wandern». The tone combines wit, warm humor and an elegant look at the couple's life.
Published within the Allgemeine Reihe series. Bastei Lübbe Taschenbücher, number 10161.
