«Memorias de un extraño» is the memoir by Jorge de Cominges, published by Seix Barral in paperback (255 pages, in Spanish).
The author recalls his childhood, adolescence and early youth (1945-1971), from the postwar period to Barcelona's gauche divine. More than a generational portrait, it is the testimony of a singular individuality in an uncommon family context, with a neutral tone that avoids value judgments and leaves room for irony and evocation.
The first edition was released on November 16, 2004 in the Los tres mundos collection by Seix Barral.
For readers of literary memoirs interested in the evolution of Barcelona and in the postwar Barcelona bourgeoisie and aristocracy.
