«Memòries d'un nen golut» is the autobiographical novel by Ignasi Riera, published by Proa in paperback (216 pages, in Catalan).
A work halfway between false memoirs and fictionalised autobiography. Ignasi Riera reviews the sentimental and gastronomic education of a character suspiciously like himself: self-parodic fragments, anecdotes from the seventies, culinary poems, diary pages and reflections on theater sketch an ironic and hedonistic gaze.
Part of the A Tot Vent-Beta collection. This edition was published in Barcelona on February 20, 2006.
For readers of Catalan literature who appreciate memoirs with humor, irony and gastronomy.
Ignasi Riera i Gassiot was a Spanish politician. A member of the Unified Socialist Party of Catalonia and the Initiative for Catalonia Greens, he served in the Parliament of Catalonia from 1987 to 1999.
