«Mensonges, mensonges» is Stephen Fry's satirical novel, published by J'ai lu in paperback (384 pages, in French).
Adrian Healey is a brilliant, cynical young man and compulsive liar whose provocative behavior makes him a celebrated figure at his school. Years later, a former teacher drags him into a farcical adventure. With sharp dialogue and corrosive humor, Fry satirizes the hypocrisy and conventions of English high society.
Originally published in English as «The Liar» in 1991, this French edition includes the translation by Johan-Frédérik Hel Guedj.
