«Merlin. Tome 6. Merlin Papa» is the children's humor adventure created by Jean-David Morvan and José Luis Munuera, published by DARGAUD in French (48 pages).
Merlin, a young apprentice wizard living in the Middle Ages, appears with his inseparable friends Jambon the pig and Tartine the ogre. The plot begins when a huge baby bursts into their lives calling him «dad»: it is Gargantua, so the three will have to find his real parents before he destroys everything. The story mixes magic, absurd humor and references to Rabelais's novel.
Sixth volume of the Merlin series, created by Joann Sfar and continued here by Morvan and Munuera. Hardcover edition, in French, 48 pages.
José Luis Munuera is a Spanish comics artist. Along with writer Jean-David Morvan, he was in charge of the classic Spirou et Fantasio series from 2004 to 2008.
