Jane Welsham is abandoned at the altar before Victorian high society, but her composure catches the attention of Grayson, Marquess of Sedgecroft and cousin of the groom. Grayson proposes a fake courtship to restore her reputation; she accepts, though she hides her plans. Between them, the game of seduction blurs the line between farce and desire.

For fans of Victorian historical romance who enjoy misunderstandings, humor and games of seduction.
