«Mila magnolia lore» is the children's book by Miren Agur Meabe with illustrations by Eider Eibar, published by Ediciones Mensajero in paperback.
A sick child in the hospital finds in poems and drawings an answer to the questions that arise during those dark moments. On the other side of the window, a magnolia is full of flowers that look like small boats to travel to other places.
Published in 2010 by Ediciones Mensajero, S.A., this Spanish edition has 36 pages; the original work is in Basque.
A reading for children and young people, especially for those who want to approach poetry and illustration as a way of facing difficult moments.
Miren Agur Meabe Plaza is a Basque poet, prose writer, author of books for children and young adults and a translator. In 2021, she was the first author to win the Spanish Ministry of Culture's National Poetry Award for a work in Basque.
