«¡Milagro, milagro!» is Jesús Torbado's account of Marian apparitions, published by Plaza & Janés in hardcover (495 pages, in Spanish).
Torbado examines the main cases of Marian apparitions in Spain, traces their connections with other places, and unravels the web of faith, interests, and deception surrounding them. A journey that shows how popular fervor coexists with commercial exploitation and invites a critical look at a phenomenon rooted in Spanish society.
Published in Barcelona in 2000 as a first edition, the work includes bibliographic references and indexes.
For readers interested in popular religiosity, Marian apparitions, and critical analysis of Spanish society.
